The Original 1000 Miles Apart Tribute to Guardsman Janes From Xander Alexander Rawlins PLEASE JOIN OUR FACEBOOK PAGE AND LETS GET XANDER TO No1 FOR CHRISTMAS CLICK HERE TO JOIN Xander Rawlins For Christmas No1 Promote your Page too Back in November 2009 we had a call from a lad who needed to get some camcorder tapes transferred to DvD. When he brought in the tapes to the studio he explained that he had brought them back from Afghanistan and they were of Alexander Rawlins singing a tribute to Guardsman Janes,  and that he wanted to put them onto DvD to give to the lads he was serving with in Afghanistan. We couldn’t  retrieve the footage in the studio initially but due to the nature of the footage and that it was been put together as a tribute for Guardsman Janes so we contacted the BBC  for help. We took over the tapes to the BBC Manchester News Studio and they retrieved the footage. We took that footage retreved by the BBC and put this video together for Paul, Alexander and the others. Paul did mention to us at the time to “watch out ” for Alexander Rawlins and his music…… and now, 12 months later Alexander has this out: All the Best Xander!
