We all have old camcorder tapes, and family videos on those big old VHS tapes that were filmed back in the 70′s, 80′s, 90′s and even earlier memories filmed on cine film.

The good news is that from just £9.99 we can convert  your camcorder and VHS tapes onto DvD and bring back those memories.

We can also convert your cine films to DvD from just £34.99 and all in time for Christmas – just imagine how great it would be be to get all your old family memories on to DvD and be able to watch them instead of the Queen’s Speech after your Christmas Dinner!

We do still convert all video and cine films to DvD, But we have now relocated to St Helens and closed the film to DvD business in Greensway shopping center, Ashton in Makerfield.

Now with our collection and delivery service our customers are more than happy when we let them know that we still offer the same great service, and now we just come to you and collect your videos and cine film, take them away then return them on DvD in a couple of days.

Video to DvD including VHS, Camcorder ( 8mm, Hi8, Mini Dv) :

Each Video tape ( VHS or Camcorder ) is priced : @ just £9.99 for the 1st 2 hours, then @ £5 per hour there after.

Cine film inc. 8mm, Super 8, 9mm and all other cine sizes

All transfers come in a full size “normal” DvD case with a printed and personalised cover.

Cine Film is priced : @ £35 for the first 250 feet then £5  per 50 feet there after.

Back in November 2009 we had a call from a lad who needed to get some camcorder tapes transferred to DvD.

When he brought in the tapes to the studio he explained that he had brought them back from Afghanistan and they were of Alexander Rawlins singing a tribute to Guardsman Janes,  and that he wanted to put them onto DvD to give to the lads he was serving with in Afghanistan.

We couldn’t  retrieve the footage in the studio initially but due to the nature of the footage and that it was been put together as a tribute for Guardsman Janes so we contacted the BBC  for help.

We took over the tapes to the BBC Manchester News Studio and they retrieved the footage.

We took that footage retreved by the BBC and put this video together for Paul, Alexander and the others.

Paul did mention to us at the time to “watch out ” for Alexander Rawlins and his music……

and now, 12 months later Alexander has this out:

Films to DvD

Into 2010 we GO!
Did you do lots of videos over the holidays of your family? Did you video the kids opening their presents? And then everyone asleep after Christmas Dinner?
I did! Haha…. and I got photographed asleep on the couch, and opening my Sat Nav, and dancing with my 2 ½ year old daughter and we had a great family Christmas.
What I’m planning is to edit the videos and photos together into a short film combining the best bits of video and photos, then I’ll put in some music and I’ll record the whole process and show you how easily you can get a great video of your Christmas ( or other occasion if you don’t do Christmas) with some basic tools.

If you have video on tape, then you’ll need to get that onto your computer first, one way is to use a DvD recorder, this is probably the easiest way to go, all you do is hook up you camera to the input on the DvD recorder and play the video into the DvD recorder and record the video direct to a DvD.- Easy!
Another way is to get a Video Capture Device. This is another really easy option, and again all you do is hook up your camera to the Video Capture Device and record or transfer the video direct to your PC or MAC

Now, if you either don’t have the recorder or capture device then you can send us your video tapes and we’ll transfer them to DvD for you! Don’t worry, this isn’t expensive, we only charge £9.99 to transfer upto an hour of video to DvD, including free local collection and delivery too

Once you have your video on your computer we are ready to have some fun and get editing!

Maybe it’s partially because of the time of year and many people are getting their old family videos transfered to dvd as Christmas Presents, but also we have had an increase to the visitors finding our various ad’s and web sites – but what really helps us more than anything is our solid reputation! as cheesy as it sounds though, with nearly 12 years service to the local Wigan and St Helens area we’ve transfered 1000′s of hours of home video footage for the local community.
